About the Eco Stay & Experience
Just 45 minutes from Jaipur, yet a world away from its pace, Sukoon is a quiet farm stay where simplicity isn't a design choice. It's a way of life.
Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Kanso, everything here is intentionally uncomplicated. Open spaces, uncluttered cottages and slow mornings invite you to pause, breathe and reconnect with what matters.
Stay in one of two thoughtfully designed Swiss cottages surrounded by gardens, birdsong and wide skies. Spend your day reading from the little library, enjoying a cup of coffee under the trees, practicing yoga on the lawn or simply doing nothing at all. If you're travelling with your furry companion, they'll feel just as at home because Sukoon is proudly pet-friendly.
Meals are prepared with care and can be customised to your preferences, while evenings are best spent around a bonfire under the stars during the winter months.
Whether you're escaping the city for a weekend, working remotely or seeking a slower rhythm of life, Sukoon offers something increasingly rare.
The space to slow down.

This property scores 3.5/5 on MyLocalDost's Sustainable Criteria — a reflection of its commitment to conscious living. From supporting local livelihoods to protecting nature, every choice here is creating real, lasting impact. Here's how:
Supports Local Communities & Cultures
Our commitment to the community is deeply ingrained in our ethos. Over 80% of our dedicated team are cherished members of the local community, fostering local employment and skills. Between 40% and 60% of our provisions, crafts, and services are meticulously sourced from nearby partners, strengthening the regional economy. We invite guests to partake in enriching, paid experiences from guided nature walks to traditional workshops and storytelling sessions; all thoughtfully led by local community members. We also occasionally collaborate with local artisans and support traditional knowledge systems through seasonal purchases and bespoke events, ensuring authentic cultural exchange. Our presence is seamlessly integrated into the local economy, with essential services, vibrant markets, and artisan workshops just moments away.
Green Environment & Biodiversity Conservation
Our design philosophy is intrinsically biophilic, ensuring that the farm gracefully blends into the natural terrain and existing tree canopy. The property itself is a verdant sanctuary, home to over 300 plants, including a thriving kitchen garden, which actively enhances local biodiversity. We diligently uphold a formal carrying capacity limit, ensuring that the delicate balance of the local ecosystem is preserved and guest experiences remain intimate and authentic. Furthermore, we actively engage in tree-planting and reforestation efforts, undertaking occasional initiatives to enrich our green footprint and contribute to a healthier planet.
Air & Water Quality
We exercise meticulous care in managing our natural resources. Our water usage is diligently monitored through installed meters, allowing us to track consumption and understand its origins for responsible stewardship. In our main kitchen, we thoughtfully combine LPG with wood and coal, acknowledging a blend of practical and traditional culinary methods. For a unique guest experience, a traditional chula is utilized, managed with robust ventilation systems to ensure air quality and comfort. We are also progressively integrating low-flow and dual-flush fixtures across the property, a growing commitment to conserving this vital resource.
Waste Management
At Sukoon, we are dedicated to mindful waste practices. We engage in source separation of organic, dry, and recyclable materials, with ongoing efforts to enhance the consistency and efficiency of this process. All organic waste, encompassing kitchen scraps and garden trimmings, is thoughtfully collected and dispatched to a trusted composting partner, ensuring that valuable nutrients are returned to the earth and minimizing landfill contribution.
Temperature & Energy Management
Our operations are thoughtfully designed for energy efficiency. Over 70% of our property runs on energy-efficient equipment, including advanced LED lighting, 5-star rated air conditioning units, and inverter appliances, significantly reducing our operational footprint. A substantial portion – over 50% – of our total energy consumption is proudly sourced from renewable avenues, harnessing the clean power of nature. We diligently monitor our electricity consumption through billing records, laying a foundational groundwork for continuous efforts to optimize energy use and reduce our overall impact.
Travel & Transportation
Embracing sustainable travel, our farm is conveniently accessible. Guests can reach us directly via state and local bus services, encouraging low-carbon transit. Upon arrival, a pleasant, short walk from the bus stand brings guests directly to the property, allowing for a seamless integration into the local environment. We also offer thoughtful, informal guidance to guests seeking to explore the local area with minimal environmental impact, promoting conscious exploration.
Food & Guest Experience
We curate authentic and enriching guest experiences that foster a deep connection to the local culture and environment. Guests can immerse themselves in distinctive local experiences, such as engaging walks, workshops, or storytelling sessions, all led by vibrant community members. Our culinary offerings can feature local and regional dishes upon request, providing an authentic taste of the region. The occasional use of a traditional chula is thoughtfully integrated into select guest experiences, offering a connection to heritage. A formal carrying capacity limit is diligently maintained, ensuring an intimate, high-quality experience that respects both guests and the delicate ecosystem.

The farm embodies a philosophy of holistic sustainable living, where every detail encourages a deeper connection with the earth. Our biophilic design, integrated within over 300 flourishing plants and a vibrant kitchen garden, invites a daily immersion in nature. Guests experience a lifestyle powered by over 50% renewable energy, demonstrating our profound commitment to a low-impact existence.
